OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
It all started back in May of 2020, when the world was falling apart during uncertain time. Noah and Josh met during lockdown at a Brazilian BBQ. Being the only blonde Aussie in the room, Josh caught Noah's attention. Noah was having quite a bad day, and to Josh's credit, he listened intently. This, too, caught Noah's attention. They later exchanged details, and the rest is history.
Fast forward to
Fast-forward to today - Pipa & Coco (fur babies) now rule Noah & Josh's lives (and household). Josh is now mastering traditional Brazilian recipes at home whilst perfecting his Portuguese. Noah has developed quite an Aussie accent and considers herself a"true-blue" Aussie, however it is difficult to take Brazil out of a Brazilian. They are looking forward to the next chapters of building their life together.
The proposal
The proposal day was quite the rollercoaster. As Josh was buying the engagement ring in secret, Coco (fur baby) had performed a disappearing act and run away from home. Josh returns home to find Noah in a panic, searching for Coco. Josh proceeded to join Noah and sprint around his local suburb in full business attire yelling "Where's Coco?! Do you want a treat, Coco?!"
We soon found Coco - all was well. Josh, determined not to let Coco's disappearing act ruin his proposal, invited Noah to the beach to "unwind" after a stressful ordeal. Josh then got down on one knee and proposed in a romantic fashion. Noah, standing there stunned, was speechless. Josh had to advise Noah that "this is real and this is happening". Noah, once she had returned to reality, thankfully agreed to marry Josh. Now, onto the wedding!
